Wedding ceremonies used to be fashioned by religious tradition.  Not any more.  An increasing number of couples desire to have a ceremony which is spiritually based without being tied to a specific religious format.  This allows for creativity and a wedding service customized to the desires of the bride and groom.

As a wedding minister, my passion is to create a ceremony that creatively expresses the meanings that marriage holds for the couple.  This may include symbolic rituals, such as the unity candle, sand ceremony or hand fasting.  Or the ceremony may profound in its simplicity.  It can be religious or secular.

I have a basic format as a starting point.  For some couples this is all they need and want.  For others, they have certain rituals or language they want to include.  The important thing to keep in mind that the ceremony belongs to the bride and groom.  It is their public statement to the world of their commitment to each other.  It is their celebration of the most important decision of their lives.  This is my guiding principle in conducting the wedding.
